Wall Wedge uses a 16-tooth gear instead of Wedge's 10-tooth; more teeth mean faster Xtreme Dashes, making this bit surprisingly capable on Anti-Attack combos too.
The PhoenixFlare Z9-80WW is a genuinely interesting combo because it plays two roles depending on how you use it. In a standard Defense setup, the Wall Wedge bit keeps the bey centered and upright — the wall mechanism actively pushes it back level when it starts to tilt, which is something most Defense bits just can't do.
The Flare Main Blade's 15 contact points mean it doesn't just sit there and take hits; it fires rapid counter-hits back at incoming attackers. Against heavy Attack types, this feels like fighting fire with fire.
The Wall Wedge's 16-tooth gear is a double-edged sword; it gives faster Xtreme Dashes for Anti-Attack play, but costs Stamina in pure Defense matchups. Know your meta before you rip.
The 9-80 ratchet at 8mm is one of the taller ratchet configs in the lineup. It keeps the combo high enough to avoid most low-sweep attacks while still maintaining solid rotational stability. The 9-protrusion count also contributes decent Burst resistance throughout battles.
