BX-31 offers a diverse array of Beyblades, each packed with unique attributes and potential for competitive gameplay. Let's take a closer look at the lineup:
Tyranno Beat 4-70Q (Prize)
Tyranno Beat 3-60S
Hells Chain 9-80O
Dran Dagger 4-70P
Shark Edge 1-60Q
Rhino Horn 5-80Q
These Beyblades encompass a range of Attack types promising a dynamic and engaging gaming experience for enthusiasts of all playstyles.
At the heart of BX-31 Tyranno Beat 4-70Q lies the coveted prize Beyblade. As an Attack Type Beyblade, Tyranno Beat boasts a formidable design inspired by the mighty T-Rex. With its unique jumping bit and intricate detailing, this Beyblade stands out as a true collectible gem. The inclusion of the Quake bit adds an element of unpredictability to its performance, making each battle a thrilling spectacle.
The 4-70 Ratchet features 4 identical protrusions at a 7.0 millimeter height
Quake or Q is a Attack Type Bit that features a wide ball tip with the gears intended for the X Dash gimmick extending to the bottom of the tip. Compared to the standard Ball (B) Bit, the wider surface area of Quake has more aggressive movement; when struck by an opponent, it is also more likely to use the X Line to perform the X Dash gimmick, due to the wider surface area and the longer gears.
Tyranno Beat 3-60S is a Attack Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy. It was released as one of six Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 3.
The 3-60 Ratchet features 3 identical protrusions at a 6.0 millimeter height.
Hells Chain 9-80Ois an Attack Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy. It was ras one of six Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 3.
Hells Chain is a round Balance Type Blade with five blades and chains acting as the main contact points. The Gear Chip features a flaming skull representing the Grim Reaper.
The round shape creates high Stamina and Hells Chain is among the heaviest non-Attack Type Blades released. Its high Stamina and heavy weight has made it a popular choice in Defense and Stamina combinations, often paired with ball Bits such as Ball (B) and Orb (O), or sharp Bits such as Needle (N). Compared to its predecessor Hells Scythe, Hells Chain has less recoil but also less Stamina, due to its slightly uneven weight distribution. The exposed underside of the Blade also means Hells Chain is more susceptible to Bursts due to its Ratchet being struck.
The 9-80 Ratchet features 9 identical protrusions at a 8.0 millimeter height.
Orb or O is a Stamina Type Bit that features a ball tip, similar to the previously released Ball (B) Bit. Compared to Ball, Orb has a smaller surface area contacting the Stadium floor, and thus higher Stamina and Knock-Out (KO) resistance. The hemispherical shape of the ball tip allows an Orb combo to stay in the center of the Stadium.
Dran Dagger makes its presence known as an Attack Type Beyblade, equipped with a sleek design and the Point bit for enhanced aggressive movement. With its focus on burst and KO potential, Dran Dagger is a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
In-depth information for Takara Tomy's Dran Dagger Blade will be placed here once drafting has been completed for it. Please be patient.
The 4-70 Ratchet features 4 identical protrusions at a 7.0 millimeter height.
Point or P is a Balance Type Bit that features a flat tip with a small ball tip protruding in the center. The performance of Point varies depending on the angle it is launched at; when tilted and launched at an angle, the flat tip creates aggressive movement, which makes it easier to contact the X Line to perform the X Dash gimmick. When launched horizontally, parallel to the Stadium floor, a Point combination will stay in the center of the Stadium, creating high Stamina. However, even if it is launched parallel, when knocked off balance a Point combination will revert to the aggressive movement of the flat tip, draining Stamina.
Shark Edge emerges as a formidable opponent, boasting two large blades for intense Smash Attack and Upper Attack capabilities. Paired with the Quake bit, Shark Edge offers unparalleled power and speed, making it a top contender in any competitive matchup.
Shark Edge is an Attack Type Blade with two large blades acting as the main contact points. The Gear Chip features a shark head.
The two large shapes have very aggressive shapes, producing a massive amount of Smash Attack. They are also sloped upwards to produce Upper Attack. At the time of writing, Shark Edge has the most powerful Smash Attack in the game, and weighs between 34.2 grams to 35.2 grams, which is heavier than most Defense and Stamina Blades. The heavy weight of Shark Edge creates high inertia which increases the Blade's Knockout (KO) and Burst Attack potential. However, compared to its contemporaries such as Dran Sword and Dran Dagger, Shark Edge has much lower Stamina. Due to its low Stamina, Bits such as Point and Rush are recommended.
The 1-60 Ratchet features 1 protrusion at a 6.0 millimeter height. The imbalanced shape and weight distribution is intended to match with the Dran Buster Blade.
While Rhino Horn may appear as the underdog of BX-31, its inclusion adds depth to the lineup. With its unique color scheme and the Quake bit, Rhino Horn offers a distinctive aesthetic and potential for strategic gameplay, appealing to collectors and competitors alike.
BX-31 not only introduces exciting new Beyblades but also showcases a range of innovative components that enhance gameplay dynamics. From the Quake bit's wide ball tip to the diverse ratchet designs, each component contributes to the overall performance and strategy of the Beyblade.
